Out west

Putting photos next to each other in a certain order sometimes feels like putting a mix tape together. The colours can slowly melt into each other, but you need the surprise in between, that make them special. Just like putting slow and faster songs into a certain order. How often do you change the rhythm?

We escaped the fast beat of the city and went on the road to the west, all the way to Quilpie. We drove through lonely little towns, stopped at quiet pubs filled with stories, camped somewhere in the vast Australian landscape. And yes, we did find the outback, where the sky seems to be higher and time slower.
